What is the Contest about?

The contest, organized by the Communications and Public Relations Office (CPRO) of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), aims to capture precious moments on campus by students and share them with the community on a monthly basis starting from February 2018. The categories can range from people to environment, buildings and activities. The photos should be related to the University, reflecting the wonderfulness and beauty of campus life.

How to participate in the contest?

All current students of MUST are eligible to participate in the contest. Starting from February to December 2018, participants can submit their photos to the designated email: cproevent@must.edu.mo. The deadline for collection will be the last working day of each month and each participant can send up to 10 photos per month. Contestants must provide name, student number, faculty, and contact number when submitting photos.

Awards:

The Top 3 winning photographs will be selected by the organizer each month. Winners will be awarded a special prize.

Specifications:

Format: JPEG

Resolution: 3 megapixels and above

Color: full colour or black and white

Size of document: each photo no bigger than 5 MB

Computer-generated or highly altered photos are not accepted

Notes:

All photos submitted must be completely original; any photos that involve plagiarism in any form will be disqualified;

By submitting photos to the contest, the contestants agree to endorse the University to use their photos in the University website or any other University promotion materials;

Three outstanding photos will be selected each month; the winners will be notified individually; if winners fail to collect the prize before a designated date, it will be the organizer’s understanding that the award was renounced willingly;

In the event that the organizer fails to get in contact with or verify the identity of a contestant due to inaccurate information provided, the photos will be disqualified, and consequently, any possible award will be voided;

The organizer has the right to make final interpretations for this event.
