The round-the-clock medical service of MUST is fully supported by the University Hospital which is a comprehensive hospital located within the campus.
The Hospital provides both Chinese and Western specialist medical treatment of general service, internal medicine and surgery including cardiology, oncology, gastroenterology and hepatology, psychiatry, clinical psychology, rheumatology, elderly treatment, blood transfusion, dietetics, urology, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, ophthalmology, dermatology, medical beauty treatment, orthopedics, chiroparactic, physiotherapy, traumatology and osteopathic, proctology, acupuncture, tuina therapy, etc. Various centres belonging to the Hospital are also equipped with advanced facilities, namely the Medical Imaging Diagnostic Centre, the International Health Care Centre, Prevention Centre, Comprehensive Oncology Centre, Clinical Laboratory & Diagnostic Centre, Sleep Diagnostic Centre, pathology, surgery room and endoscope room. Meanwhile, the Hospital is exerting efforts on other specialist services and medical facilities.
The in-patient section provides room types including double rooms, single rooms and deluxe rooms. The Clinical Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre has joined the quality control scheme of CAP (College of American Pathologists) and has also acquainted accreditation from NATA (National Association of Testing Authority). The Hospital has newly equipped 64 slice CT which will be launched into service soon.
