This course is the fundamental course in Chinese Medicine. It introduces the development, philosophy and main thinking ways about Chinese Medicine’s theory system. It also helps students understand the reason why human get sick, the principles and concepts about how diseases develop and transform, and the concepts of preventive medicine, treatment and health preserving.

 

BC1006 Diagnostics of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course is the fundamental course in Chinese Medicine. It is the bridge to connect the theories with the real practice. It mainly teaches students how to use “look face and tongue”, “smell”, “ask “and “press pulse” methods to diagnose to see why patient get ill. Moreover, the course provide the knowledge of different ways of diagnose such as observing viscera (臟腑), blood and water in human’s body.

 

BC1007 Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course researches pharmacology’s theories, and how to use the theories in practice. It is the fundamental course in Chinese Medicine. It teaches Chinese Medicine’s function, compound, taboos, dosage and the way how it used. It can be used on body’s surface, or with hot and cool, or excretion, or rheumatism, or warmth, or recuperate blood, or hemostasis, or reduce phlegm, or relieve a cough, or comfortable and so on.

 

BC1008 Pharmacology of Traditional Chinese Medical Formulae

Pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine is a course that researches treatment and medicine’s dosage. It mainly teaches the relation of treatment and medicine’s dosage, common usage, principle of dosage and usage about formulas of Chinese medicine. There are 150 verses about dosage’s form, usage and meaning.

 

BC1009 The Inner Canon (Huang Di Nei Jing)

It is the earliest medicinal book. Its system info becomes fundamental practice, so it is the one of Chinese medicinal course. This course is divided into the inner canon’s pandect and original reading. The pandect teaches the inner canon’s essential contents, system’s formation and characteristic. The reading teaches the inner canon’s articles.

 

BC1010 Internal Medicine of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Internal medicine of traditional Chinese Medicine is very important in clinical courses. It is based on fundamental course. And it tells patients’ reaction and reasons when they get ill. This course has two parts: pandect and sub-pandect. The pandect teaches internal medicine’s  pathogenesis, symptom and treatment. The sub-pandects list the example of more than 50 illness’ symptoms, characteristic and treatment.

 

BC1011 Acupuncture and Moxibustion

Acupuncture and moxibustion is very important parts in TCM. This course teaches pandect and sub-pandect of Jingluo, acupoint, acupuncture and moxibustion, treatment and so on.

 

BC1014 Human Anatomy

Human anatomy is the course that studies the morphology of normal human. This course mainly delivers knowledge of the morphology of normal human body systems and organs, and the positional relationship between each other.

 

BC1015 Histology and Embryology

Histology is the course that study fine structure and function of normal human under optical microscope; it mainly delivers knowledge of the fine structure and function as well as their relationships in normal human tissues and organ systems. The embryology mainly delivers the knowledge of early embryogenesis, the relationship between the embryo and the mother, the occurrence of organ systems, and common congenital malformations.

 

BC1016 Biochemistry

Biochemistry is the course that studies the chemical composition of the normal body and the law of chemical changes in life activities. This course mainly delivers knowledge including chemistry carbohydrate, lipid, protein chemistry, nucleic acid chemistry, enzymes, vitamins, glucose metabolism, lipid metabolism, protein metabolism, nucleic acid metabolism and protein synthesis, regulation of metabolism, liver and gallbladder biochemistry etc.

 

BC1017 Physiology

Physiology is a course that studies the law of life science activities. This course mainly delivers knowledge including basic functions of cells, blood physiology, circulatory physiology, respiratory physiology, digestion and absorption, body temperature, kidney physiology, endocrine physiology, and nervous system physiology.

 

BC1018 Microbiology and Immunology

This course includes microbiology and immunology. Microbiology mainly delivers knowledge of the biological characteristics of pathogenic microorganisms, the pathogenic principle, the route of infection, the prevention and treatment methods the infective diseases. Immunology mainly delivers knowledge of the body's immunological mechanism against pathogenic microorganisms and tumors, the pathological state of the body under abnormal immune state, and the application of Immunology in the clinical diagnosis and treatment.

 

BC1020 Pathology

Pathology is a course that studies the law of the development of disease; as a basic course, it aims to explore the nature of illness and serves as a bridge between basic and clinical medicine. This course mainly delivers knowledge including the development and pathological process of diseases, the pathogenesis and pathological changes of cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and urinary systems and common diseases.

 

BC1021 Pharmacology

Pharmacology is the course that studies the interaction between the drug and the body. This course mainly introduces effects and mechanism of drug on the body, and law of the drug efficacy and dynamic plasma concentration in vivo.

 

BC1022 Diagnostics of Western Medicine

This course studies the basic principles and methods to diagnose the diseases, and serves as a bridge between basic and clinical medicine courses. This course mainly delivers knowledge including symptom diagnosis, specimen diagnosis, laboratory diagnosis, electrocardiogram and imaging diagnostics, medical records and diagnostic methods.

 

BC1027 General Introduction to Surgery

This course mainly introduces the basic theory of western medicine surgery, basic knowledge and basic operation of surgery, common surgical pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, laboratory examination, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, the complications, treatment and prevention of surgery disease.

 

BC1028 Surgery of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course introduces surgery’s development, diagnosis and treatment. It also teaches traits, reasons, limits, manifestation treatment and precautions of trauma, breast, goitre, andrology and trauma. 

 

BC1029 Gynecology of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course introduces gynecology’s development, limits and name meaning. It also teaches traits, reasons, limits, manifestation treatment and precautions of menopathy, leucorrhea, gestation and others.

 

BC1030 Pediatrics of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course introduces pediatrics’ scientific development, growth, feed,exercise and traits when people are healthy or ill. It also teaches pandects about four treatments and epidemic or common illness of children or babies.

 

BC1031 Orthopaedics and Traumatology of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course introduces concepts, imits, treatments, principles and practice ways of orthopaedics and traumatology. It also teaches reasons, treat ways and estimates of fracture, dearticulation and injury of muscle and tenddon.

 

BC1032 Otorhinolaryngology of Traditional Chinese Medicine

BC1033 Ophthalmology of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This course introduces development, limits, diseases’ name and the relation of eyes and viscera. It also teaches traits, reasons, clinical features, manifestation treatment and precautions of eyelid, write eyes, black eyes and traumas.

 

BC2002 Paleography of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Paleography of traditional Chinese medicine is a course that researches ancient sages’ theories. It’s a fundamental course in TCM. Teachers will lead you to read the ancient literary selections of TCM and tell you the ancient medical stories which can improve knowledge and reading methods in ancient works. Students will get the ability to read ancient literary works about Chinese Medicine by studying this course. And it will make students study other medical articles or specialize ancient books easier after they graduate.

 

BC2023 Western Internal Medicine

This course is a clinical course that mainly studies the law of the development and diagnosis of internal diseases. BC3024 Treatise on Exogenous Febrile Diseases

This course is a professional book that treatment is based on syndrome and differentiation. It is one of the classical books. It teaches how to treat Taiyang, Yangming, Taiyin, Shaoyin, Jueyin, cholera and overwork.

 

BC3025 Synopsis of the Golden Chamber

Synopsis of the golden chamber is the earliest book that is used to treat illness. It is one of the classical books of Chinese Medicine. This course teaches viscera (臟腑) Jingluo and change of pulse before and after illness. It uses four especial treatments and eight ways to treat internal medicine and gynecology.

 

BC3026 Doctrine of Epidemic Febrile Diseases

Doctrine of Epidemic Febrile Diseases is the study of the incidence of epidemic febrile disease, the law of its development, diagnosis, treatment and prevention methods of discipline. This course introduces the concepts of Epidemic Febrile Diseases and its etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome, commonly used diagnostic methods, control methods and common syndromes treatment.

BC3012 Medical Massage

This course is a very important part of Chinese Medicine. It introduces development, usages, mechanism, essential principles, common techniques and practices in internal or gynecology or traumatology of medical massage.

 

BC3047 Medical Image Analysis

This course introduces the X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound imaging mechanisms of various body systems, the performance and diagnostic methods. It belongs to the scope of Diagnostics previously, and now is delivered as an independent course in many medical colleges. This course mainly includes two sections: Section One serves as the general remark that introduces the appearance of normal tissues and organs by imaging instrument; Section Two introduces the diagnostic methods of skeletal, respiratory, circulatory, digestive, urinary, central nervous system, head and neck, and breast disease.
