The 33rd Sino Luso International Medical Forum will be holding a special training forum in Porto, Portugal.

Based in Macao, China since 2011, the forum is elated to present in Portugal, bridging frontline healthcare providers from Portuguese speaking countries with medical friends internationally.

Over 350 leading experts from around the world will be meeting for the first time in the beautiful and historical city of Porto, Portugal between 2nd – 4th September 2016. This will take place at the prestigious Doctor’s Order headquarters of Porto in Portugal.

This meeting provides presenters and participants a valuable opportunity to share their experiences, new developments, and opinions.

President of the Sino Luso forum, Prof. Manson Fok comments, “Launched in Macao in 2011, this forum will be held in Portugal for the first time to create a universal picture of our medical professionals’ developmental progress. For our friends from around the globe, the forum will inspire comprehensive deliberations. It also gives governments and health ministerial leaders an opportunity to learn about the latest information they require to promote collaborations, so to speak. What better way to congratulate the Sino Luso committees for the extraordinary work over the past five years, and for the spirit of Macao’s nearly half millennia long role of bridging China with the Portuguese speaking world, than to come to the beautiful city of Porto.”

Prof. Manson Fok continues, “We are excited to announce the attendance of the Health Minister of Angola, Dr. Luis Sambo, who will present his latest paper titled ‘Global Health - Society, Economy and Solidarity.’ This meeting will include world renowned keynote speakers, panel discussions, and break-out sessions: offering the opportunity for many scientists to share their research through lectures and presentations. These activities will provide all the top medical professionals with the opportunity to network and participate in professional development.”

For that series, over 33 Portuguese speaking doctors were having meetings in Beijing—bringing the series to new height.

The debut Porto series will be the largest multi-disciplinary medical meeting the Sino-Luso International Medical Forums has ever undertaken—a proud fete for Macao’s medical community.
