Mr. Edmund Schofield and Mr.Max Ben of the Swiss Glion Hotel Management College visited the Macau University of Science and Technology in the afternoon and received a warm welcome from Ms. Chu Oi Mei, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM), Dr. Feng Yan，Program Director and Dr. Pan Su Ying, Assistant Professor on December 4, 2017.
In the seminar, titled “Reaching New Heights in Hospitality——the Experience Industry”, Mr. Schofield talked about how the experiential industry can deliver a personalized service to guests, and discussed the changes over the period of 10 years and the future challenges in hospitality industry. The speaker explained the major characteristics of the hotel service based on his professional working experience in hotel industry, and had interacted with students.
This seminar has deepened students’ understanding of the hospitality service and developed future blueprint of experience industry.
