In the afternoon of June 10, 2017, Faculty of Information Technology hosted a graduation celebration in room N221, Block N. More than 100 graduates and their relatives and friends, and faculty members attended the celebration including the Dean of the faculty Prof. ZhangDu and the Assistant Dean Prof. Li JianQing.
At the beginning, Dean of the faculty Prof. Zhang Du delivered a speech, and then he presented a faculty gift to and took photos with each graduate. In his speech, Dean Zhang expressed the hope that the graduates keep in touch with and often come back the university. Next, the representative of faculty member Associate Prof. Li XiaoDong delivered speeches. Associate Prof. Li Xiaodong shared his teaching experience and encouraged graduates to remain enthusiastic on their careers and to pursue their dreams relentlessly. At last, Mr Zhang Bingchuan, as a representative of graduates, delivered an impressive speech. In his speech, he shared learning and life experiences in the campus and expressed thanks to the faculty. At last, all the professors and graduates sang in the chorus of university anthem, the graduation celebration ended with the beautiful anthem.
After the celebration, Dean of the faculty Prof. Zhang Du, Assistant Dean of the faculty Prof. Li JianQing and all faculty members took group photos with graduates in front of the university logo on the wall of Block N. The celebration reflected faculty’s core values and left a beautiful memory for graduates.
