Macau Forum 2013 Calls for Papers

In today's world, the cultural soft power has been increasingly demonstrating the trend of influencing global development. The era entrusts us with propositions and challenges as to how to advocate and create cultural heritage, to search for and achieve equality and win-win situation in multicultural dialogue and blend. 

As the city of cultural communication between China and West, Macau plays a significant role in both the course of “transmission of Western knowledge to the East” and the process of “propagation of Eastern knowledge to the West”. Today, the Macao Forum brings together worldwide politics, business, academic insight to build a platform for regional multicultural high-level dialogues. It is in this hope that Macau invites renowned scholars and professors to explore the road to friendly communication and peaceful coexistence.

Scheduled from 26 to 28 March 2013 at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel, the first forum will focus on and discuss with the theme of " multiculturalism: Legacy and Innovation." Now it calls for conference papers from domestic and foreign counterparts.

    • Traditional cultural education and the faith and morals of the youth
    • Traditional cultural education and modern education system

     In addition to the above topics, you are also welcome to write papers with your self-proposed topics.

  5. Essay requirements

    (A) Content requirements
    1. Papers should have clear view and a prominent theme;
    2. Papers should be logical, well structured, and fluent;
    3. Please specify if your contributions are published papers.

    (B) Format requirements
    1. Please submit your paper by email with Word format, and keep the draft;
    2. Papers should be arranged the following stated order: Chinese title, Chinese summary, Chinese keyword, English title, English summary, English keywords, paper, references;
    3. The arrangement of references should comply GB / T 7714-2005 References bibliographic Rules
    4. Please annotate “Macau Forum 2012” on the upper right corner of the paper
    5. Please be sure to indicate author's name, place of work, contact telephone and e-mail at the end of your paper
    6. Words requirements: 3000 to 5000 words.
