In December 12th 2017, at 7:00-9:00 p.m., the final and award ceremony of the 3rd season of “Creative Route and Event Design to Explore Special Charm in Macau”, organized by Assistant Professor of the School of Business in MUST Xu Jinfei and his team members, was successfully held in O702.
The theme of this season's competition is "Always Waiting for You, in Wind, in Rain, in Macau", which is aimed at promoting all-round and in-depth understanding of Macau, and discovering the charm of Macau with unique perspective. The total 27 groups with hundreds of students, completed 27 different styles of products, and participated in the competition through the route planning, feasibility analysis, scenic spot investigation, WeChat public platform promotion. Compared with the previous year, we have added the highlight of "activity planning". Students not only developed their products, but also organized activities in person, and led their friends to take a field trip! At the same time, Zhang Feiran and other graduate students also took part in this activity and helped to grade all the players as the third-party judges.
In the end, the 3 best teams elected by two-week class reporting and voting, as well as the top 3 in the public platform(6 teams in total) , reached the final. In addition, some foreign exchange students have also participated in. So, this final adopted Chinese and English bilingual emcee, and all the teams lectured in English. Assistant Professors Han Lifeng and Zhao Honghao in Business School were invited to serve as judges.
On the final night, a team of German students firstly brought their work “Explore Macau's Place & People”. It showed the first time for foreign students to come to macau, and what they see, what they feel, and how they know about the new environment and culture. Then, Wang Yanyu, the representative of her team, told the story of “There are Some Places Only We Know”, and shared the “little real luck” of Macau. Later, Li Duyi, Zhou Lu and Ye Junyan in the work "In Macao, I am Tired of Gambling and Eating Meat" showed the fresher side in Macau instead of magnificent casinos.
Later. Wang Bingyu, Cao Yuting and Dong Yinge’s "My Camera is Addicted in Macau", recommended some quiet, pure, grand......various styles of shooting scenery for the audience in photographer's point of view. The competition then came to the climax. Such a star assemble place in macau, Xin Meixuan and Dai Mingyang’s work "One Island, Two Days, Three People, Walked Four Blocks and Five Spots" took you back to the streets that many stars have walked, the same scenes and same food. They talked about the more advanced way of tracking for stars. Finally, Wu Ruoqi, Zhuang Huangxi, Guan Qiaozhi and Li Fangpeng presented their work "Go Back to Old Times", with the theme of historical celebrities, showed the ancient time of Macau. They also played a drama, really added more fun to the competition!
At the end of the competition, all audience voted to select the attribution of each award. The committee also awarded “the Freshest Route Award” and other eight best label prizes. More interesting, the competition was interspersed with two rounds of lucky draw, hosts and guests interacted with the audience, and gave the souvenir.
