Mr. Sun Da visited State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines, MUST.
On the morning of July 2, 2015, Mr. Sun Da, Vice Director of Liaison Office in Macao and his colleagues visited MUST and were warmly received by Prof. Liu Liang, President of MUST, Prof. Chen Xi, Vice President, Dr. Tong Ka Lok, Vice President, Prof. Pang Chuan, Associate Vice President, Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Office Director, Prof. Tang Ze Sheng, Academic Advisor, and Prof. Chen Jiong Lin, Director of Lunar and Planetary Science Laboratory. Both parties exchanged ideas on the development of Macau tertiary education and scientific research.
President Liu Liang expressed his heartfelt thanks and warm welcome to Mr. Sun’s visit. He also expressed his gratitude to the country, Liaison Office and Macao S. A. R. for supporting the development of MUST. Later, he introduced to Mr. Sun the university’s recent development as well as the achievement in scientific research.
Prof. Liu said that the university attached equal importance to teaching and research. To enhance the quality of teaching and the innovation in scientific research, almost 200 teachers and researchers have been hired in recent years, so that the university can provide more talents to serve our country and Macao.
Mr. Sun spoke highly of MUST’s rapid development in recent years. He said that Lunar and Planetary Science Laboratory – Partner Laboratory of Key Laboratory of Lunar and Deep Space Exploration, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines had unmatched advantages.
After the meeting, Mr. Sun, together with Prof. Liu, visited Lunar and Planetary Science Laboratory, Metal and Wood Arts Design Laboratory and State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines. He was deeply impressed by the advanced facilities.
Other guests included Director Xu Ting, Vice Director Pu Hai Long, Section Chief Hong Bo and Deputy Section Chief Guo Jian Bin from Department of Culture and Education, Liaison Office.
