Peru Delegation Visits M.U.S.T.

A delegation from Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (USIL), Peru visited Macau University of Science and Technology on 3 May 2017. The delegation included Mr. Raúl Diez Canseco Terry, Former Vice President of Peru & Founding President of USIL, Mrs. Luciana de la Fuente, Executive President of USIL, Dr. Ramiro Salas Bravo, President of USIL, Ms. Patty O'Donnel and Mr. José Sotomayor, Advisor to the Founding President in Communication, and Mr. Gonzalo Talavera-Alvarez, Deputy-Consul General, Consulate General of Peru in Hong Kong and Macao.

The visitors were warmly welcomed by Professor Sun Jiang Rong, Associate Vice President and Dean of University International College (UIC), Assistant Professor Lin Ching Yu and Spanish major students from University International College.

Professor Sun Jian Rong introduced the University’s latest progress and faculty structures to the delegates. Dr. Ramiro Salas Bravo said they were impressed by the recent developments of MUST and would extend collaboration with the University. Both USIL and MUST exchange views on internationalization; they forge to build international network and explore programs for student exchange. The delegates then toured the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chines Medicines (MUST).
