FHTM Internship Program to Walt Disney World Resort, USA

On May 25, 2017, Program Directors of FHTM, Ms. Brenda Yang and Dr. Yan Feng have led 22 students majoring in International Tourism Management to participate in the international internship program (6 Months) in Walt Disney World Resort Orlando, USA, as well as an academic exchange at Florida State University for 10 days. During the time at FSU, 22 BITM students, along with students form U.S. and Canada, have attended the classes and taken part in the field trips to a chain restaurant and a beach resort.

The internship program aims at enhancing students’ work skills in the fields of hospitality and tourism, broadening their international horizons through internship and study, and enriching their University life. FHTM students in this program will obtain working experience and cultural exchange by working and learning together with hotel and tourism industry employees from all over the world.

The year of 2017 marks the 10th anniversary of FHTM which has been cooperating with Walt Disney Company Ltd. and Florida State University since the Faculty is established. FHTM has continuously strengthened ties with Walt Disney Company Ltd. and Florida State University through this internship program to provide better opportunities for the students’ learning experience.
