MUST MSc Accounting accredited by ACCA again

The Master of Science in Accounting program of School of Business (MSB) at Macau University of Science and Technology has been accredited again by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a leading global body for professional accountants based in the UK, for a 5-year term from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2021.

The ACCA accreditation allows the MSB accounting graduates for a full range of exemption, the maximum of nine papers, for sitting ACCA qualification examination. This should greatly benefit MUST graduates for pursuing accounting profession and their career advancement. ACCA has over 100 years of proven worldwide reputation for quality and excellence, with near 190,000 members and 480,000 student members in 178 countries at present.

Last year, the MSB BBA Accounting major program has been granted a 5-year term accreditation by ACCA. The Accounting programs offered by MSB at MUST have also received accreditations by other major international accounting profession bodies, including the CPA Australia and the UK-based Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CIMA), which demonstrated the programs have earned international recognition.
