MUST Students Won the Runner-up and the Outstanding Award at the Macau InnoICT Business Plan Competition

Held by the Macau New Technologies Incubator Center, the fifth Macau InnoICT Business Plan Competition ended successfully. Supervised by Associate Prof. Wong Hon Cheng, with its project of “Intelligent Technology of Internet of Things”, the Dong Yun Research team made up of Pi Ling Qing from the Faculty of Information and Technology and other students, won the runner-up. Additionally, supervised by Assistant Prof. U Kin Tak, with its project “One-stop Second-hand Goods Trading Platform”, Team MARS made up of Wang Tian Ji, Chen Jia Jun, and Wei Yuan from the Faculty of Information Technology and Geng Min Yi from the Macau School of Business, won the outstanding award.

The Business Plan Competition aims at encouraging and urging the Macau education community to engage in ICT innovations so as to provide support for the establishment of small and medium-sized local Innovation enterprises, build a closer link between the ICT and the education community, and nurture more Macau Creative enterprises. There were 31 competing teams in this year’s competition, 23 of which came from local higher education institutions.
