Delegation Led by Wang Guo Qiang, Deputy Director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China Visited MUST

On November 12, 2014, Deputy Director of the National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People's Republic of China and Director General of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wang Guo Qiang, Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Office of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wang Xiao Pin, Deputy Director General of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Yu Hai Yang, Secretary of the Minister, Ren Heng Qin, and Vice Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Office) of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Wei Chun Yu, paid a visit to MUST. The delegation was warmly welcomed by President Liu Liang, Associate Vice President Jiang Zhi Hong, Assistant Dean of Faculty of Chinese Medicine, Zhou Hua, and Assistant Dean of Macau Institute for Applied Research in Medicine and Health (MIAR), Wang Jing Rong.

At the meeting, President Liu Liang first extended sincere thanks and warm welcome to Deputy Director Wang Guo Qiang for his visit to the University. President Liu Liang then conducted a brief introduction to the university’s development and history, educational scale, and admission work over the past years. He especially gave Deputy Director Wang Guo Qiang an introduction of the recent development, research projects and achievements, and the future plan of the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicines. Deputy Director Wang Guo Qiang noted that he felt delighted for MUST’s fast development and gave full credit and support for the State Key Lab’s research projects and achievements; he also raised a few constructive questions concerning the future development of the lab and kindly provided some guidance for the relevant work.
