BOAO Forum for Asia Development Summit (Macau) Sub-forum held at M.U.S.T.

One of the sub-forums of the 2017 BOAO Forum for Asia Development Summit (Macau), which was jointly organized by the BOAO Asia Forum, Macau University of Science and Technology and the Macao Youth Federation, was held at N101, M.U.S.T. in the afternoon of November 5, 2017. The forum has been warmly received, and over 500 people attended the event.

President Liu Liang of Macau University of Science and Technology and President Mok Chi Wai of the Macao Youth Federation, Co=Chairman of Organizing Committee of the “2017 BOAO Forum on Asia Development Summit (Macau)” ; Deputy Director-General Wang Guang Yan of the Department of Moral Education of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China; Mr. Lam Kam Seng, Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, and Deputy Director Lou Pak Sang of the Education and Youth Bureau of the Macao S.A.R. attended the forum.

The theme of the sub-forum is “Youth Talent and the Future of Asia”. Talents have become a major core element of the competitiveness of all countries nowadays. Youths represent the future of the world, and therefore have naturally become an essential part in the development and reservation of talents across the world. The forum discussed on the role of talents for the future development of Asia,and how different countries should nurture talents and formulate relevant policies. Panelists of this forum were Mr. Marty Mei, Press Secretary to Premier, State Government of Victoria Australia; Mr. Steve Okun, Senior Advisor of McLarty Associates; Mr. Sou Chio Fai, General Secretary of the Talents Development Committee of the Macao S.A.R. Government, and Mr. Yang Fan, Founding Partner of FINUP & CEO of IQIANJI.
