In today’s world, cultural outreach as a form of soft power plays an increasingly important role in shaping global development. This trend bestows upon us both opportunities and challenges as to the creation of new consensus on humanistic values, as well as the promotion of equality and win-win outcomes through multi-cultural dialogues.

As a city of cultural exchange between the Greater China and the Western world, Macau has been an important player in the courses of “transmission of Western knowledge to the East” and “propagation of Eastern knowledge to the West”. Today, the Macau Forum brings together the world’s political, business, and academic insights to create a high-level platform for regional multicultural dialogues. The Forum invites renowned scholars and academics to prepare the path forward friendly exchanges and peaceful coexistence among diverse cultures.

The theme of the Forum is Diversity, Inclusiveness, and Development. It is organized by the Organizing Committee of the Macau Forum, and hosted by the Macau University of Science and Technology.
