Bachelor of Arts in Art Design - Study Plan

I. Academic Profession: Humanities and Arts

II. Course Duration: 4 years

III. Teaching Language: Chinese/English

IV. Teaching Method: Face-to-face

V. 146 credits are required for the completion of this course and are assigned as follows:

  1. Complete 46 credits of required courses of attachment 1;
  2. Complete 49 credits of selected professional courses of attachment 2;
  3. Complete 8 credits of any group of the other three professional courses of attachment 2 or the elective courses of attachment 3;
  4. Complete 43 credits of the courses of attachment 4, which are assigned as follows:
    - Complete 33 credits of required courses
    - Select 4 credits of Sciences and Technology Courses
    - Select 4 credits of Social Sciences Courses
    - Select 2 credits of Humanities and Arts Courses

VI. Requirements for graduation:

Upon approval from the Senate of the University, a Bachelor's Degree will be conferred on a student when he or she has: 

  1. completed and met the requirements prescribed in the study plan od his or her program within the specific study period*
  2. abided by the regulations of the University
  3. cleared all fees and charges and returned all University property and equipment borrowed

*Students admitted from the academic year 2017/2018 onwards are required to achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above in order to graduate.
