Curriculum

1. Abstract

Master of Fine Arts in Interactive Media is an interdisciplinary master course. It integrates courses and research in the fields of design, creativity, media, science, technology and art. It provides a learning environment in which science, art and design blend. Based on the knowledge of information technology and visual design, the course provides students with solid basic skills in both science and humanities. Teachers are proficient in modern electronic technology and have rich practical experience. The course invites top experts and promotes students' participation in scientific research activities through international conferences. Through the teaching of this course, we cultivate excellent professionals with cultural characteristics, thinking characteristics and internationalization.

2. Course Features

In terms of course design, this course emphasizes "professional diversity", "practical orientation", and "cross-field integration ability". It is divided into two majors: game design and game management. Provide courses in creation, design, humanities, psychology, theory, marketing, and management in the field of interactive media. Provide cross-field research and internship opportunities for students according to their characteristics.

We comprehensively consider the design and development capabilities required in the Internet era, and pragmatically cultivates cross-disciplinary senior industrial talents in interactive media.

  

Educational Goals

1) Explore the academic development trends in related research fields such as "Interactive Technology", "Game Design" and "Game Management";

2) Provide a research environment for cross-field resource integration, and provide opportunities for exchanges and cooperation with other schools;

3) Research interactive media topics that meet the design logic and information communication needs;   

4) Improve the quality of education through digital media design and interactive technology research.

 

3. Employment Prospects

Graduates can engage in related industries according to their ambitions.

Such as: multimedia advertising design, computer game design and management, programming, interactive somatosensory devices, augmented reality, virtual reality, film and television, information design and other related work. Participate in the national license qualification examination. Academically, graduates can enter teaching positions in universities, high schools, and technical schools related to animation, multimedia, visual design, and information design. Graduates can also choose to enter relevant scientific research fields, such as doctoral programs in science and technology, game design and management, and information science. Self-employment or joint venture to open digital multimedia and design, game design, and related personal studios.
