Two Scholars in MUST have elected as ACM Senior Member

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) as the world's largest scientific and educational computing society released the newly elevated Senior Members on Oct. 19, 2020. Two faculty members from Faculty of Information Technology, Associate Professor Tao Zhang and Associate Professor Hong-Ning Dai were conferred with ACM senior members due to their extensive experience and outstanding research achievement in software engineering and computer networks, respectively.

The Senior Members Grade of ACM recognizes those ACM members with at least 10 years of professional experience and at least 5 years of Professional Membership in the last 10 years, who have demonstrated performance through technical leadership, and technical or professional contributions. There are only 2,632 ACM Senior Members, only 2.6% of the total number of all ACM members, revealing the high competition for the elevation of ACM Senior Members Grade.
