Prof Yan Zhang Invited To Give A Talk

Faculty of Information Technology of Macau University of Science and Technology held a seminar at Room 408, Block C on June 16th, 2017. Prof.Yan Zhangwas the invited speaker, his talk was on “Software Defined Wireless Networks”.

Abstract:

Software Defined Wireless Networking (SDWN) plays a crucial role in the next-generation 5G communications architectures and networks. This talk mainly includes three parts. In the first part, Prof. Zhang introduces the SDWNs scenarios, key concepts and architectures. Then, he focuses on efficient resource management in SDWNs, and discusses competition and cooperation mechanisms for different resources utilization. He study resource trading and a utility function has been considered to incorporate operation cost and resource utilization. Finally, he will also show illustrative results to demonstrate the advantages/disadvantages in using different strategies.
