On 2nd December 2019, led by Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of Dalian Minzu University Chen Minghua, a group of about 40 representatives visited the Macau of Smart City. The group had a professional academic discussions with Assistant Professor Liang Yanyan on smart city construction. Assistant Professor Cheang Chak Fonk, Lab Coordinator, was responsible of the reception and hosted this event.

In recent years, under the guidance of Macao SAR Government and the Macau University of Science and Technology, the Institute has continuously strengthened the integration and corporation of enterprises, research institutes and higher education institutes, to improve the rolling system of industry, science and research, and to provide various supports for the intelligent urban development of Macao. Professor Liang also introduced the achievements of the Institute. The group appreciated the achievements of the Institute.
