To all Non-Resident Students (Current Students) :
Beginning from 15th July, 2015, Public Security Police Force optimized the renewal procedures of “Special Authorization to Stay” (aka “Student Visa”). All current studentsare required to complete the renewal procedures with the relevant documents at the Macau Immigration Department after every 15th July. Macau Immigration Department will approve the extension for the non-resident students who qualify for the renewal requirement. If the student changes the study status later, the Macao Immigration Department have the authority to immediately change or cancel his/her “Special Authorization to Stay”.
The new academic year is coming, kindly reminds you to double check the period of validity of the “Special Authorization to Stay” and cooperate with the Macau Immigration Department for making the completion of relevant renewal procedures as soon as possible. If the current student without the completion of renewal procedures before the expiry, he/she may be considered to be overstaying. Otherwise involve the serious cases and the repeat violator within the specified period,he/she will be regarded as an illegal immigrant,and cannot entry to the Macao SAR for 2 years.
