The 18th Inauguration Ceremony of Macau University of Science and Technology Students’ Union was successfully held at the auditorium of Block D at 19:00 on 25th November, 2020. Vice President Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Vice no President Chair Prof. So, Jacky Yuk Chow, Assistant of the Department of Education and Youth Affairs of Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region Xu Zhi Ping, Acting Deputy Director of Higher Education Bureau Chan Iok Wai, Head of Student Affairs Office Wong Ka Weng, Assistant Administrative Officer Tam Kit Leng, Mentor Du Yun, Program Director of Faculty of Chinese Medicine Associate Professor Xu You Hua and the representative of each youth association in Macao.
While Vice President Mr. Kwong Ying Wa was giving a speech, he encouraged that Students’ Union and Sub-unions as the representative of all students should continue to carry forward the sentiment of Loving our Country and Macao, take responsibility in building positive campus culture, and take initiative in organizing activities in terms of academics, culture and arts, sports. The members of Students’ Union and Sub-unions should be excellent in character and learning, being practical and modest all the time, being self-discipline and implementing the supervisory mechanism of administration of association, comply with the Law of Macao and the Rules and Regulations of the University, play an exemplary role for students and the youth. Hoping that members of Students’ Union can obtain all-round development in academics and works of association. Making contribution for the progress of Students’ Union and the development of Macau University of Science and Technology.

While delivering a speech, President Bai Bing Rui indicated that not only does Students’ Union takes after and promotes the good tradition, but also opens up new prospect. Students’ Union advocates every member works with solidarity and collaboration, as a bridge among the University, teachers and students. While delivering a speech, Director General Wang You Xin mentioned that in the coming future, being honest and sincere should be regarded as the foundation for work. We will be determined to the implementation of resolution, set a good example and exercise self-discipline, and play an exemplary role for students, make appreciate contribution to the development of Students’ Union. The representative of Supervisory Committee Zhang Tian Yi introduced the function of Supervisory Committee, expressed a deep commitment to the fulfillment of three following aspects, and work would be carried out effectively.1. Truthfully implementing the resolution of General Meeting 2. Application in managing and verifying the property of association, and implementation of the financial management policies 3. Supervising each department to organize and coordinate relevant activities.
