Laboratory for Bioorganic and Chinese Materia Medica Chemistry

Main Research Focuses:

1. Identification of novel active ingredients and their derivatives from Chinese medicinal herbs by techniques of bio-organic chemistry and chemical biology screening;
2. Discovery of new mechanisms of action or new targets for the bioactive lead compounds and their derivatives through the application of simulation technology, which targets disease-associated proteins and the metabolic pathways network;
3. Set up samples library of compounds derived from Chinese herbal medicine on anti-inflammation and anti-cancer.
