Dr. Anthony Phillips from University of British Columbia was Invited for Online Seminar

On 2 November 2021, Dr. Neher's Biophysics Laboratory for Innovative Drug Discovery invited Dr. Anthony Phillips, Professor at University of British Columbia (UBC) to deliver an online conference about his current research: Tetrahydroprotoberberines (THPBs), as a new candidate drugs for treatment related neurological disorder.

Professor Anthony Phillips works in the areas of preclinical neuropsychopharmacology and systems neuroscience and published over 350 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His pioneering research laid the foundation for the role of dopamine in the neural control of motivation and memory, with clinical implications for understanding the biological relevance of key aspects of mental illness including substance abuse.

After Professor Anthony Phillips's presentation, researchers and students derived much benefit, they asked Anthony Phillips about the relevant scientific questions and discussed enthusiastically.
