The IPLAG annual conference was held on 20 September 2019 in Shenzhen. This meeting was hosted by Intellectual Property School (Law School of Shenzhen University) and were jointly assisted organizing by Macao Research Center for Intellectual Property (Macau University of Science and Technology) and the National Intellectual Property (Guangdong) Training Base (Law School of Shenzhen University). There were around a hundred legal professionals attended this annual meeting. During the meeting, the specialists and scholars were discussed in depth regarding to the three main topics which were the theory, practice and dispute resolution of cooperated innovation of the Intellectual Property in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Council Annual Meeting of the Intellectual Property Law Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was held on 20 September 2019. At the meeting, board of the directors voted unanimously to pass the application of Guangdong Intellectual Property Society to join the Alliance, and it became the 27th member unit of the Alliance. On 22 September, the delegates went to visit the Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone (Qianhai) Authority and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration.

The “Macao Intellectual Property Research Center” jointly established the “Intellectual Property Law Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area” with the Faculty of Law in The University of Hong Kong and Jinan University, other 26 academic research units, legal practice units and service platforms.
