Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade Expo 2019 and Pearl River Forum on Intellectual Property 2019 were officially opened in Guangzhou on 12 November 2019. The Vice President – Jiang Zhihong, the Executive Vice Dean of Faculty of Law – Fang Quan and Associated Professor Yi Zaicheng were invited to participate in the Pearl River Forum on Intellectual Property 2019. Vice President Jiang Zhihong mentioned in the speech that in the past two years, Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) and Zhuhai Municipal Government were signed the collaboration agreement which concerning with jointly promote the technological innovation development in Greater Bay Area and develop the high quality education and technological innovation center in Macau and Zhuhai. Moreover, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong-Macau Science and Technology Alliance; and the Macao Research Center for Intellectual Property which jointly established by Faculty of Law in M.U.S.T. and Research Center of Intellectual Property Rights in Zhongnan University of Economics and Law are centered by M.U.S.T. All these have pushed ahead the communication and cooperation in the scientific field among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau. Resources sharing and setting up Intellectual Property cooperation mechanism among these three places helped to improve the service system of the Intellectual Property in Greater Bay Area.
Jiang Zhihong delivered a speech in the forum
Macau University of Science and Technology and Guangdong ZhongCe Intellectual Property Research Institute were signed the collaboration agreement on 12 November. Both parties hoped that the Legal Practice Education Center will be the main platform to carry out the cooperation between each other.

During the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Trade Expo 2019, Professor Fang participated in the sub-forum section Three and Twelve: “The Application of Intellectual Property and the Protection of Comprehensive Reforms Summit – Financial Innovation and Environment of Intellectual Property Summit” and “Intellectual Property Women’s Leadership Forum” respectively on 12 November. Besides, Professor Fang delivered a speech in the forum regarding to the “Legal Cooperation in Greater Bay Area and Nurturing Legal Talents in Cross-Domain Area” on 14 November. Moreover, Associated Professor Yi Zaicheng participated and gave a speech in the sub-forum section Eight: “Intellectual Property Protection Collaborative Practice in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Forum – Foundation and Improvement of Mediation System of the Intellectual Property” on 13 November.
