Zhang Jiawei from Faculty of Law Obtained the 2nd Prize in the 11th National College Student Copyright Writing Competition
Zhang Jiawei, a student of Faculty of Law in Macau University of Science and Technology, won the 2nd prize in the undergraduate category of the “National College Student Copyright Writing Competition”. He was invited to attend the award ceremony and his awarded writing is titled “Discussing the possibility of unjust enrichment in internet copyright infringement cases”.
This writing competition was organized by the National Copyright Administration and was undertaken by National Copyright Trading Base of Renmin University of China. Since the event was first held in 2008, there were many positives feedbacks, as well as many academic dissertations about copyright were sprang up. Zhang Jiawei has awarded in this captioned competition for two consecutive years.

Zhang Jiawei expressed that this good results were gained from teacher’s guidance and assistance throughout the 3 years in M.U.S.T. Especially thank you to Associated Professor Yi Zaicheng for supervising him. Zhang Jiawei mentioned that the important thing was to learn the skill of data retrieval, method of dissertation writing and the ability of language expression. Moreover, he also mentioned the shortcomings of this writing, so that he could do better in future from learning the deficiency in this competition.
