Luo San Jiang, a student of the class of 2021 won prizes in two national writing competitions on intellectual property. His essay “ Research on Copyright of Titles of TV programs” won the third prize in the 3rd Copyright Writing Competition of Youth in the New Era. And his essay “Case study on Shaanxi News and Tvnet Haber---the Identification of Infringements of Titles of TV Programs” won the third prize of the undergraduate group in the 13th National College Student Copyright Writing Competition.
Guided by the Copyright Protection Center of China, the 3rd Copyright Writing Competition of Youth in the New Era was sponsored by China Copyright Magazine Co, ltd and co-sponsored by Copyright Agency of China Ltd. It was reported that there were more than 600 original essays written by professional participants from universities, research units, judicial fields, industries, and law firms. The competition announced 12 first prize winners, 20-second prize winners, and 40 third prize winners.
The 13th National College Student Copyright Writing Competition was sponsored by National Copyright Administrative and co-sponsored by the National Copyright Trade Centre of RUC. Since its founding in 2008, a great number of students have participated in this competition with outstanding works, which had great influence and enjoyed positive brand effect nationwide.
Luo San Jiang expressed his appreciation to Associate Professor Yi Zai Cheng and Wang Chuan Hui for their professional guidance. He said that the competition provided chances to write and output what he learned and greatly helped him to cultivate the ability of paper writing and information sourcing. He hoped more students would join in these professional competitions in the future.
