At the start of the new semester, the Faculty of Law held the second meeting of the Academic Management Committee and welcomed the new teachers for the 2022/2023 academic year. The meeting was chaired by Dean Fang Quan.
During the meeting, Program Directors Xie Gengliang, Mou Xiaobo, and Bi Jingwei reported on the relevant teaching matters for the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs of this semester, including course arrangements, faculty situations, and the undergraduate final examination affairs.
Dean Fang also made announcements about other administrative work, including the composition of the Student Academic Integrity Committee (college level) and the recommendation of outstanding university teaching awards for the Faculty of Law for this year.
The colleagues of the Faculty of Law office reported to all the teachers about the various activities and competition participation plans of the Faculty of Law for this semester.
In addition, students and teachers participating in domestic and international professional competitions such as the International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition (Chinese and English competitions), the 64th Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and the 11th Asia-Pacific Regional M&A Simulation Competition are also preparing hard and we wish them the best of luck in bringing honor to the Faculty of Law.
This semester, the Faculty of Law welcomed two new teachers, Professor Cao Xia and Professor Wang Shuiming, to join the faculty. All faculty and staff warmly welcome them and hope that the two senior professors will quickly adapt and integrate into the new working environment, leading young teachers to witness the growth of the Faculty of Law.
During the meeting, the faculty and staff of the college also gathered for a meal at the university's seasons restaurant, looking forward to the arrival of the new semester with full enthusiasm.
