On the morning of February 22nd, the Faculty of Law welcomed seven Ph.D. graduates and their mentor, Professor Shen Sibao, as they returned to their alma mater, M.U.S.T. Faculty of Law. The visiting alumni included Zhu Dongxing, a graduate from the Class of 2013, Song Chengzhan, Zhang Jing, Shen Wei, graduates from the Class of 2014, Wang Daowei, He Shukui, Cheng Yushu, graduates from the Class of 2015. The event was attended by Dean Fang Quan, Program Directors Xie Gengliang and Bi Jingwei, Associate Professors Yi Zaicheng and Shen Yunqiao, as well as Assistant Professor Zhou Ting, who also serves as the Deputy Director of the Faculty of Law Alumni Association.

During the symposium, Dean Fang Quan warmly welcomed Professor Shen Sibao and the attending alumni, expressing gratitude for their ongoing concern for the Faculty of Law, their alma mater. Through a promotional video, Dean Fang introduced the current development of the faculty, including the scale of faculty and students, the establishment of the new master's program in Financial Crime and Regulation, the formation of the Faculty of Law Alumni Association, the establishment of alumni scholarships, as well as the operation of affiliated institutions and national-level research platforms within the faculty. Dean Fang specifically mentioned Professor Shen's significant contributions during his tenure as the dean, such as the launch of the International Arbitration Master's Program and the establishment of the Center for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution, and expressed hopes to continue receiving Professor Shen's attention and support in the future.
Professor Shen Sibao stated that being a teacher is a lifelong friendship, and the most important and fulfilling aspect for a teacher is to cultivate excellent students. He expressed satisfaction with the achievements of the students and provided valuable suggestions for the development of the faculty, particularly in the cultivation of students in the field of international arbitration and the establishment of the Center for Arbitration and Dispute Resolution.
The alumni reported on their recent developments and shared their feelings about their doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law with excitement. They expressed that the memories of their entire learning journey were enjoyable, with strict yet caring teachers, close connections among classmates, and a rare learning experience that broadened their understanding of legal issues in practice, positively influencing their careers. The alumni stated that they would always hold their alma mater and the Faculty of Law close to their hearts, hoping for continuous improvement and the cultivation of more outstanding legal professionals.

After the symposium, Dean Fang presented souvenirs to the alumni. The alumni visited the Faculty of Law's mock courtroom and took commemorative photos with the faculty members on campus, compensating for the regret of not being able to attend the graduation ceremony due to the pandemic.
