Two local secondary schools in Macau Two local secondary schools in Macau, Fong Chong School of Taipa and Hou Kong Middle School, recently organized visits to the campus of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.). The Faculty of Law at M.U.S.T., represented by Course Director Xie Gengliang and Assistant Professor Wang Jia, warmly welcomed the students and teachers from both schools and provided detailed introductions to the teaching, competitions, and moot court activities at the Faculty of Law.
During the visit, Assistant Professor Wang Jia and students Zhou Hanlin, Wang Ruoyu, Wang Kexin, Fan Zhiyan, Sun Rui, and Shen Ruibing from the Faculty of Law demonstrated immersive English-speaking contexts through simulations of the International Criminal Court moot court competition and the International Commercial Arbitration moot court competition. These demonstrations provided an exciting academic tour for the visiting students and teachers.
The event offered local secondary school students in Macau an opportunity to learn about and experience the study and practical application of law. By witnessing courtroom debates and arbitration processes firsthand, they gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for the English teaching, practical instruction, and talent cultivation at the Faculty of Law.
The Faculty of Law at M.U.S.T. has always adhered to its mission and goals of "Rooted in Macao and open to the world, the Faculty of Law commits to embrace multiculturalism, to nurture local and cross-regional legal talents, and to promote the rule of law." It is committed to serving Macau's society and national development. Youth development and talent cultivation are crucial for the future development of Macau's society.
