I am honored to be awarded the Nam Kwong Education Scholarship for the current year. Receiving this scholarship is not only a recognition of my efforts over the past year but also an encouragement for my future academic journey. During my three years of studying at the Faculty of Law, I have been fortunate to encounter many exceptional teachers and classmates who have provided me with great encouragement and guidance. They have taught me how to learn, how to think critically, and how to cherish the present moment, not wasting time. Additionally, the silent support from my family has given me strength and motivated me to keep moving forward. I hope to approach my future studies with gratitude, continue to strive for excellence, and grow and progress together with everyone.

I am deeply grateful for the support and encouragement from the faculty, teachers, and fellow students. I am honored to be awarded the Henry Fok Foundation Scholarship. Over the past year in the Doctor of Laws program, the guidance, assistance, and inspiration from the faculty and my peers have provided me with a constant source of strength, motivating me to deepen my roots and strive for growth. In my future academic journey, I will stay true to my original aspiration, remain grounded, and dedicate myself to research. I will not let any blooming opportunity go to waste, and I will cherish every little thing I have. I will appreciate, love, and be grateful for them wholeheartedly. On the path of learning, I will seek the light, pursue the light, become the light, and radiate the light. I will use my own abilities to give back to the university and society.

Upon learning that I have been selected as a recipient of the "Henry Fok Foundation Scholarship," my heart is filled not only with excitement but also with gratitude. I am grateful to my mentors, Professor Liu Xiaohong and Professor Yi Zaicheng, for guiding me and shedding light on my path. I am grateful for the platform provided by M.U.S.T. and the Faculty of Law, where great scholars and knowledge abound. I am thankful for Mr. Henry Fok's support for education in China, his heartfelt dedication that has nurtured generations of students.

I consider myself fortunate to have chosen M.U.S.T. to pursue my Doctor of Laws degree at this stage of my life. Throughout my academic journey, I have actively participated in offline lectures and extracurricular activities, earnestly studying the theories and methodologies of legal philosophy, and attempting to apply them in my research and thesis writing. By attending seminars and engaging in research projects, I have had the opportunity to learn from "everyone," gaining insights and expanding my horizons. Pursuing a doctorate is a solitary endeavor, but it is also a personal journey of self-cultivation. I firmly believe that with each small step, our efforts will not be in vain.

I hope that the knowledge and experiences I gain at M.U.S.T. will enable me to contribute to society in the future.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to my advisor for their patient guidance and mentorship throughout my academic journey. I am also grateful to the Faculty of Law and the Henry Fok Foundation for their support and encouragement. Life is filled with countless opportunities and changes, and after many years of working, I made the decision to return to school to pursue a Doctor of Laws degree. This challenging yet rewarding experience has greatly benefited me.

My initial aspiration was to break through the limitations of the individual and seek beneficial changes for a wider community. However, I have come to realize that understanding the complexities of the world and making a meaningful impact requires continuous questioning, exploration, doubt, overturning, and reshaping. Fortunately, here at the university campus, the dawn and dusk bear witness to my personal growth, as I constantly engage in these processes. I strive to comprehend the joy that comes from the turbulence of thought and to approach the truth of law and social sciences.

From this starting point, I aim to learn how to find solutions to real-life challenges within larger systems. I seek to expand and deepen my understanding, contributing my own unique imprint of value and using knowledge and ideas to influence more people. Everything is happening at the right time.

At this moment of receiving the award, I am filled with gratitude. When I think of gratitude, my family comes first. Throughout my academic journey, they have been like warm embers in the snow, providing me with unwavering support and companionship. When I think of gratitude, the university, the faculty, and the mentors are essential. They have been like guiding lights in the night, directing my intentions to be sincere, diligent, and dedicated to my studies. When I think of gratitude, my dear friends have been by my side, like umbrellas in the rain, always generous in their assistance whenever I encountered difficulties.

I am determined to maintain a grateful heart and a passion for learning, striving to achieve even greater accomplishments on my future educational path.

During my time studying at the School of Law, I have received tremendous support from the faculty, teachers, and fellow students. The professors at the School of Law have provided me with valuable guidance in my early academic journey, allowing me to approach my studies with a critical mindset and make steady progress along the academic path. In the Master of Financial Crime and Regulation Program, not only did we receive theoretical courses, but the School also invited industry leaders to teach us. Under their selfless guidance, my practical skills have continuously improved, enabling me to achieve my career goals.

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to M.U.S.T. for providing us with invaluable learning opportunities and a platform to showcase our abilities. I would also like to thank the professors at the Faculty of Law for their dedicated guidance and teachings, as well as my fellow students for their continuous support. It is fair to say that every step of my progress is inseparable from the companionship and encouragement of everyone around me. I am deeply honored to receive the Bank of China Scholarship. This is not only a recognition of my achievements but also a motivation for me to exert even more effort in my future studies.

Award acceptance speech:

As an ancient poem states, "Dripping water can penetrate stone, not through strength, but through persistence." This honor is not only a recognition of my hard work and relentless efforts but also an encouragement and support for my future dreams. I deeply understand that every achievement is inseparable from the dedicated teachings of my teachers, the selfless support of my family, and the mutual encouragement from my classmates. It is with these forces that I am able to persevere and strive for excellence. I will always remember the words of Romain Rolland: "Only by turning the mood of complaining about the environment into the driving force for progress can success be guaranteed." Therefore, I will regard this scholarship as a new starting point, continuing to study diligently, constantly improving myself, and using knowledge and wisdom to explore the future.

The road ahead is still challenging and long, but I will take this award as motivation, upholding the spirit of "never tiring of learning and never weary of teaching," striving not only for academic progress but also for continuous advancement in life. I am truly grateful to receive the BNU Scholarship for the third consecutive year, and I am thankful for the recognition and support from both the university and BNU. Over the past three years, we have transformed from individuals who had little understanding of "law" into diligent and knowledgeable legal professionals who constantly seek truth and wisdom. This transformation would not have been possible without the dedicated and responsible teaching attitude of our professors, who have guided us, imparted knowledge, and clarified our doubts. Learning is a process of self-exploration, during which we discover our strengths and weaknesses. Today, I have learned to maximize my strengths while facing difficulties head-on and overcoming them. Life has its ups and downs, and grades fluctuate. I hope that everyone can become stronger in the face of setbacks, living up to their own expectations and the passage of time.

Lastly, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to M.U.S.T. for providing me with this opportunity, and I would like to thank all my fellow students who have accompanied me on this learning journey.
