The 14th Sino-Luso International Medical Forum titled, “Empowering Aesthetic Medical Practices with Innovative Techniques” will take place from 27th to 28th of July 2013 in Macau.
Aimed at improving medical training for Macau's healthcare providers and for bridging international medicine, the academic programs of this forum shall be chaired by the Faculty of Health Sciences, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) and organized by the Macau Healthcare Management and Promotion Association (MHMPA).
Saturday the 27th features two clinical training workshops on operative skin care. They will take place at the Lecture Hall of Dr. Stanley Ho Medical Development Foundation, 9/F, ICBC Building, Landmark Macau. Expert presenters for this include Ms. Kennes Lau, who will guide Macau's medical providers in these training sessions.
On the evening of the 27th, a special roundtable discussion will be held for advanced technology experts to present their latest findings and services.
Sunday the 28th features Scientific Sessions with professionals such as Dr. Chen Ping, the Vice-Chairman of the Guangdong Society of Laser Medicine, Chinese Medical Association. Dr. Chen will present her latest findings in the application of lasers with aesthetic medicine.
Another presenter is Mr. Michel Schipoff, the Chairman of Paul-Niehans Group based in Switzer-land. Mr. Schipoff will lecture on cellular skincare treatment in post-surgery situations.
Dr. Ana Filipa Beato Conde, a Portuguese expert, will give a lecture about food intolerance issues and how they influence our skin.
Mr. Lior Dayan, an Israeli expert of laser technology will speak about the latest aesthetic trends and new indications based on advanced energy devices.
Dr. Ng Wai Man Raymond, a renowned Hong Kong plastic surgeon, will present his work on upper blepharoplasty procedures.
Dr. Manson Fok, the President and organizer of the Sino-Luso International Medical Forums, comments, "The demand for medical aestheticians is growing rapidly here in Macau and we are very excited to run this forum.
