Signing Ceremony of the Medical Education Collaboration Plan between Health Human Resources Development Center, National Health and Family Planning Commission of the People’s Republic of China, and the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Macau University of Science and Technology of Macau S.A.R.

The Faculty of Health Sciences, Macau University of Science and Technology and Health Human Resources Development Center of the National Health and Family Planning Commission, PRC (formerly Ministry of Health) jointly hosted a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony reception on 21st September 2013. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will further advance the two organization collaboration in advancing medical education and skills training through CME programs, research and communication.

More than 80 distinguished guests including Dr. Chen Xiaohong, Vice Minister of National Health and Family Planning Commission, Chair Professor Liu Liang - President of Macau University of Science and Technology, Dr Zhang Junhua - Director-General of Health Human Resources Development Center, Dr. Manson Fok - Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences of Macau University of Science and Technology, President of Prof Ernesto Morais, Col. Henrique Morais, Professor Vitor Ribeiro and many other health scholars and advocates graced this meaningful occasion.

Dr. Manson Fok expressed this MOU signifies future collaborations in teaching and scientific research between the two institutions. Dr. Fok expected that the MOU is to establish a whole new platform for advanced surgical and medical virtual reality training, international forum events and improving the standard of medical education.
