This 1-day workshop was chaired by the Macau University of Science and Technology: Faculty of Health Sciences and organized by the Macau Healthcare Management and Promotion Association (MHMPA) on the 14th December 2013 in Macau SAR, China.

This full day certificate course has been specifically designed to assist medical professionals to develop competency strengthened by theoretical knowledge in the practical skills required to insert peripheral IV cannulae and or take blood samples.

We provide IV arms and latest virtual reality simulation in workshops, specimen collection, basic anatomy and physiology, a safe way to teach procedures of phlebotomy and specimen collection, precautions, contraindications of phlebotomy and venipuncture techniques, prevention and management of complication.

Certificate will be issued to those who have 100% attendance and have passed the assessment.
