Professor Liu Feng, Associate Dean of School of Management, Xiamen University, and Professor Qu Xiaohui, the former Director of the Institute of Financial Management and Accounting Studies and the Accounting Development Center at Xiamen University ( the Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Universities under the Ministry of education in China) visited School of Business at Macau University of Science and Technology on November 16-17. Xiamen University is one of the “985” and “211” key universities in China. Vice Presidents Dr. Tong Ka Lok and Professor Pang Chuan, have met the visitors respectively. Both sides have discussed the potential collaboration between MUST and Xiamen University, especially the possibility of build up the partnership as well as other academic exchanges between the School of Business and the Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Xiamen University and reached initial collaboration agreement. Professor Qu and Professor Liu presented talks about the Experience on the Development and Management of the Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Universities in China and Institution and Research: Opportunity in China for faculty members and postgraduate students, respectively, in the afternoon of November 16 and their presentations were well received by the audience.
