Vice Dean Zhang Yaguang of the School of Economics at Peking University visited the School of Business
Promoting sustainable development of teaching and scientific research cooperation

Vice Dean Zhang Yaguang of the School of Economics of Peking University and his delegation visited the School of Business (MSB) of Macau University of Science and Technology on August 15, 2023 (Tuesday). Professor Sheng Ni, Dean of MSB, Ms. Lam Ian Leng, Head of General Affairs Office of MUST, Professor Zhang Jinghua, Assistant Dean of MSB, Associate Professor Song Yu and Assistant Professor Tam Kwo Ping received warmly. Both parties had a friendly conversation about student cultivating, academic research, facility management for the campus, and future cooperation and development.

Dean Sheng Ni welcomed Vice Dean Zhang Yaguang and his delegation and introduced the development and curriculum of the School of Business in recent years. She also mentioned that the School of Business had just received International Accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), it is a major milestone of the development of School of Business. She hoped that the two institutes could seize the opportunity of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, give full play to their respective advantages and characteristics, strengthen mutual exchanges and cooperation, enhance the quality of teaching and research, and cultivate more innovative economic talents for the country and society. Ms. Lam Ian Leng, Head of General Affairs Office introduced the overall operation of the General Affairs Office of MUST, and shared in detail the management of student accommodation.

Vice Dean Zhang Yaguang affirmed the development of teaching and scientific research of MUST and the School of Business, and introduced the recent development and curriculum setting of the School of Economics of Peking University. It is expected that the two institutes will strengthen cooperation in academic research, student exchange programs and academic forums in the future.
