The 2nd Zhuhai-Macao- Hengqin University Students Finance Knowledge Competition
MSB Students Acquired Excellent Achievements
On October 29, 2023, the final of the "2023 Zhuhai-Macao-Hengqin University Students Finance Knowledge Competition" was successfully held in Hengqin. The competition was jointly organized by the Zhuhai Branch of the People’s Bank of China, Zhuhai Development and Reform Bureau，Zhuhai Education Bureau, and Zhuhai Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League. The student team "Your Answer is Wrong" from the School of Business of Macau University of Science and Technology, supervised by Assistant Professor Li Shenru, entered the final after passing the first round of screening. They then engaged in on-site debate competitions with teams from 10 higher education institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
During the final，the M.U.S.T. team carried out a heated discussion on the practical issue of "The Application of AI Technology in the Field of Finance". The four team members，Feng Xinyan，Yi Hongyan，Liu Huiyu, and Zhang Boyan actively participated in the debates, utilized their strengths, spoke clearly and logically，elaborated on their viewpoints，and argued earnestly. They had an intense exchange with their opponents and ultimately relied on teamwork and individual capabilities to win the excellent bronze award in this competition.
Over 70 teams from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area participated in the preliminary contest，with 10 teams entering the final. In the preliminary contest，the student team "Dazzling Flying Fish" of the School of Business of M.U.S.T. won the award for the most outstanding performance. Their competition entry "Emancipating Freedom" was created by the four team members Zhou Zixuan, Wang Ruyu, Du Shangfei, and Liu Yibing.
