M.U.S.T. Team Walked for Millions Despite the Rain

Vice President Lin Zhi Jun led the M.U.S.T. team in Walk for Millions

The “Walk for Millions, 2018” was held successfully on December 9. As always, Macau University of Science and Technology continued to act in support of the charity event and donated MOP100,000 to the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News. On the day of the Walk, Vice President Lin Zhi Jun led a team of over 500 M.U.S.T. members to act in support of the charity cause in person, including faculty members and university staff, the M.U.S.T. Alumni Federation, students, the Students Union, the Graduate Students Union, the Art Troupe/University Teams, the Social Services Team, the Mind Garden Psychological Team, the Campus Security Team and others. The M.U.S.T. team walked with pride and determination from the Macao Science Center to the A-Ma Temple. In addition, students from the M.U.S.T. Art Troupe also put on artistic performances to cheer for the participants at the Walk.

On the day of the Walk, the temperature was low, the wind was strong, and it even began to rain; however, it did not bring down the enthusiasm of the participants. The MUSTers continued to walk despite the rain, demonstrating perseverance in support of an important charity cause, strode two hours and eventually made it to the finishing point. In fact, the MUSTers have always been and will continue to be great supporters of charity events and philanthropic causes.
