The M.U.S.T. team participated in 「Walk for Millions 2019」
The「Walk for Millions 2019」 was held successfully on December 8. Over the years, Macau University of Science and Technology has always been supportive to the “Walk for Millions” fund-raising charity event, and this year has been no exception. The University donated MOP100, 000 to the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News earlier. On the day of the Walk, Vice President Kwong Ying Wa led a team of approximately 800 MUSTers, including faculty members and university staff, the M.U.S.T. Alumni Federation, students, the Students Union, the Graduate Students Union, the Art Troupe/University Teams, the Social Services Team, the Mind Garden Psychological Team, the Campus Security Team and others, to act in support of the charity cause and walked for the event. The M.U.S.T. team walked with pride and determination from the Macao Science Center to the A-Ma Temple. What’s more, students from the M.U.S.T. Art Troupe also put on artistic performances cheering for the participants at the Walk.

This year’s Walk for Millions coincides with the 20th anniversary of the return of Macao to the motherland and the 20th anniversary of the founding of Macau University of Science and Technology. In the celebratory spirit, the M.U.S.T. team completed the two-hour walk under a joyful and cheerful atmosphere. While celebrating the anniversaries of the Macao S.A.R. and the University, MUSTers act in a charitable spirit to participate in philanthropic events in person, which testifies to their commitment to carry on the essential spirits of the Macao S.A.R. and to the vitality of the University.
