On the 16th of September 2022, Sands China Ltd.'s Scholarship and Fellowship Cheque Presentation Ceremony was held at the Venetian Hotel. Dr. Wilfred Wong, President of Sand China Ltd. presented a cheque for MOP150,000 to Mr. Kwong Ying Wa, Vice President of Macau University of Science and Technology to encourage M.U.S.T. students on their studies at the ceremony. Ms. Wen Hong Yan, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Mr. Sam Chong Nin, Vice President of Corporate Communications and Community Affairs, Mr. Lourence Ho, Director of HR - Training & Development, Ms. Annie Lam, Director of Community Affairs, and Ms. Wong Ka Weng, Head of Student Affairs Office of M.U.S.T. also attended the ceremony.
During the meeting, Dr. Wilfred Wong and Mr. Kwong Ying Wa exchanged views for deepening the friendly cooperation between both sides and jointly promoting the development of higher education in Macao. Sand China Ltd. remains committed to supporting higher education in Macao and investing in local talent development, having made the 16th consecutive donation of scholarships and fellowships to M.U.S.T.
