School of Business, Macau University of Science and Technology Earns AACSB International Accreditation!

 

School of Business at Macau University of Science and Technology has earned the international accreditation of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and been positioned among the top 6% of business schools globally. 

“AACSB accreditation recognizes institutions that have demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning,” said Stephanie M. Bryant, Executive Vice-President and Chief Accreditation Officer of AACSB. “We congratulate the School of Business, Macau University of Science and Technology, and Dean Ni Sheng on earning accreditation and applaud the entire team—including the administration, faculty, staff, and students—for earning this respected honor.”

The School of Business of Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.) was founded in 2000, and officially launched AACSB International Accreditation in 2016, followed by 7 years of self-evaluation and continuous improvement in strict accordance with the 15 international standards of AACSB Accreditation, and finally successfully completed the Peer Review Team (PRT) visit on March 20 to 23, 2023. During the exit meeting held on March 23, 2023, the PRT Chair, Dean Tootoonchi, concluded that “the School of Business presented evidence of continuous improvement and high quality in its academic programs, activities, teaching, research, and assurance of student learning. The school successfully met or exceeded the requirements for the Accreditation Standards.”

“M.U.S.T. is honored to receive the prestigious AACSB accreditation for our School of Business. This honor is a recognition that the M.U.S.T. School of Business provides high-quality business education and impactful research that has a positive societal impact,” said President Joseph Hun-wei LEE.

“We are proud to achieve the AACSB accreditation and be positioned among the top 6% of business schools globally,” said Dean Ni Sheng. “Over the last seven years, the School of Business has established a robust quality management system, ensuring continuous improvement. We greatly appreciate all the support we received throughout the AACSB accreditation journey. My sincere thanks go to the M.U.S.T. executives, former deans, the leadership team, students, faculty, staff, and alumni.”
