FHTM successfully held the “Internship Talks 2023”

The Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology successfully held the “Internship Talk 2023” from 9^th to 13^th October 2023. This year, a total of 13 companies from Macao, Hong Kong, and mainland China were invited. Around 400 Year 4 students participated in the event.

The Faculty invited Sands China Ltd., Wynn Macau, MGM, Melco Resorts & Entertainment, Galaxy Integrated Resort Macau, SJM Resorts, S.A., Holiday Inn Express, Mandarin Oriental Macau, Crowne Plaza Macau, DFS Cotai Limitada, Small World Experience, Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung and Four Points by Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung, and Angsana Zhuhai Hengqin (listed in no particular order) to the talks, which were organized by Dr. Christy Liu, Program Director of FHTM. During the talks, the companies introduced their company background, development history, and internship positions to the students, after which the students submitted their resumes to the companies.

FHTM is committed to the cultivation of outstanding talents. Students are provided with opportunities to do internships in companies during the second semester of Year 4. After attending the talks, students understood more about the positions and requirements of the companies, which helped them to find a suitable internship position and plan a better career future.
