Upcoming Event: The 2025 Macao International Communication Week

The 2025 Macao International Communication Week, themed "Emerging: AI and Medium", will kick off at 10:30 a.m. on April 28th. This year's event is co-organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Arts at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the Center for Information and Communication Studies at Fudan University, and the Journalism and Information Communication School of Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), with sponsorship from the Macao Foundation.

Aligned with the University's commitment to educational and research excellence, the event will showcase cutting-edge developments in media and communication studies for the digital age. Distinguished scholars from Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China will examine media practices in the AI era. Additionally, a dialogue between international journal editors and authors will offer valuable insights into current academic trends, promoting greater visibility and impact for social science research.

The Deans' Forum of Journalism and Communication Schools in the Greater Bay Area will outline concrete measures for teaching and research collaboration while presenting findings on international communication studies. Concurrently, the 3rd China Story International Communication Summit Forum will delve into innovative approaches to China's global communication in the context of AI, featuring numerous scholars across three thematic panels.  Furthermore, the Symposium on Digital Narratives & Urban Settings will include a discussion with the directors of the documentary Ani Bond: Choying Drolma, focusing on the art of visual storytelling.

The event is open to the public, and everyone is invited to join this international academic gathering. We hope it provides an enriching and insightful collective experience centered on the evolving digital paradigm in communicative behaviors and academic research.
