Students from the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management (FHTM) of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) delivered an exceptional performance and garnered multiple honors at the Final of the “Yuanhua Cup” National College Students MICE and Creativity Competition. The event was held from November 7 to 9, 2025, at the Qingyuan, Guangdong.

In this competition, MUST won a total of two awards. Among the highlights, the project titled “Farm Verse: Glimpse of Time Carnival Harvest Starlight Festival”, guided by Assistant Professor Dr. Feng Yan, Program Director at FHTM, and participated in by students Cai Yiwen, Wang Zixia, Song Wanyu, Qiang Ruilin, and Li Zihan, secured the First Prize in the Student Category for its exceptional creativity and execution. Additionally, the University was honored with the First Prize for Teaching Achievements.

Since its official launch in 2011, the “Yuanhua Cup” National College Students MICE + Creativity Competition has celebrated a remarkable 14-year journey. This year’s event closely aligned with the core theme of “Digital Empowerment, AI Enablement, and the Integration of Industry and Education,” achieving a record scale with 464 participating teams and 1,874 students. During this prestigious event, faculty and students from FHTM at MUST showcased their solid professional foundation, forward-thinking innovation, and exceptional execution skills, standing out in the competition and achieving remarkable results. This not only exemplified their comprehensive capabilities but also earned the University prestigious honors, contributing significantly to the high-quality development of MICE education in Macau.
