Without the reliable backing and warm support from our Motherland, Macau’s striking take-off would never have been achieved. Looking back on the extraordinary contributions to Macau’s economic development made by numerous Chinese enterprises, people will first think of the Nam Kwong (Group) Company Limited as the earliest and strongest company to make the greatest contribution.

Speaking of Nam Kwong Group, people will surely think of its head. As the Chairman of Nam Kwong, Mr. Xu Kai Cheng has been implementing fully the policies of the Central Government, leading his group positively to develop new industries such as exhibitions and logistics, and making tangible efforts to promote the proper diversification of Macau’s economy. Pursuing the principle of “Rooted in Macau, Booming Macau”, leading the staff to persist in its achievement of the goals of “Giving back the Best to Society” and “Making the Finest Citizens in Macau”, he has made, and continues to make, a great contribution to enhancing people’s quality of life and to maintaining Macau’s social stability.

In addition to being the president of Nam Kwong, he is also a member of the CED (Committee of Economic Development) and the CST (Committee of Science and Technology) in Macau SAR. Moreover, Mr. Xu Kai Cheng is the vice-president of the Macau Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the Chinese Enterprise Association in Macau. Clearly, his whole-hearted devotion and personal charm are fully embodied and evidenced in his several and diverse social activities.

Whenever Macau people bring to mind such a significant name – Nam Kwong – they also bring to mind his name: Xu Kai Cheng.
