UNG Pui Kun

Ms. Ung Pui Kun currently serves as a Member of the MUST University Council. Before the 1999 handover, she was awarded the Medal of Merit for Professions by the Macao Government; in 2009, she received the International Huaxia Medicine Society for Outstanding Individuals; and in 2013, she was awarded the Medal of Merit for Philanthropy by the MSAR Government. In April 2015, she was appointed by the State Council as a Member of the 2nd Expert Advisory Committee of the State Council's Leading Group for Deepening the Reform of the Medical and Health System. Since 2020, Ms. Ung has officially served as the Director of Kiang Wu Hospital, concurrently holding the positions of Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of the Kiang Wu Hospital Charitable Association. She actively promotes hospital reform, innovation, and the improvement of medical service quality. Ms. Ung is actively involved in social activities, having served as a Member of the Chief Executive Election Committee for the 1st to the 6th terms of the MSAR, and as a Deputy to the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress. She served consecutively as a Member of the 10th to the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (2003-2023), Vice-Supervisory Board Chairperson of the Macao Basic Law Promotion Association, and holds advisory roles in multiple medical and social organizations, achieving distinction in the development of social healthcare and education.
