UNG Si Meng
Mr. UNG Si Meng has held numerous public and institutional roles including Member of the MUST Foundation Board of Trustees, Deputy to both the 9th and 10th National People's Congress, and Deputy to the 8th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress. He also served as a Member of the Macau Basic Law Consultative Committee, Member of the Presidium and Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Celebrations of Macao's Return to the Motherland by Compatriots from All Walks of Life in Macao, Member of the Selection Committee of the Macao Special Administrative Region (MSAR) Government, and Member of the Chief Executive Election Committee for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd terms of the MSAR. In 2002, he was awarded the Silver Lotus Medal of Honor by the MSAR. Actively engaged in community service, Mr. Ung participated in the establishment of the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau in 1983. He currently serves as Honorary President or Permanent President of several social organizations, including the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau, the Macao Cheong Hong Music Club , and the Macau Artist Society , actively promoting local social development in Macao and cultural exchanges within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region.
