PATA (Pacific and Asian Tourism Association) announced 2016 research grant list of cultural heritage conservation and sustainable tourism. The research project entitled “Sustainable Tourism in Yongding’s World Heritage Site: Capacity, Personal Value and Social Capital as the Mechanism, Yongding County, Fujian Province, China” submitted by FHTM staff team successfully obtain research grant of US $10,000.
This project is collaborative achievement of all the team members Drs. Zhang Yang, Lee Young Hee, Ly Tuan Phong, Zhang Meng, Huang Jun Yuan and Zhou Yong. This successful application of research grant not only indicates high research quality and unity and cooperative spirit of FHTM staff, but also is remarkable progress of international academic cooperation level. Meanwhile, this project will select some excellent postgraduate students of FHTM to join in research practice to improve their competency of linking theory with practice and experience of academic research through field survey as well.
